About CCTV Installer Leicester
We install, repair and maintain CCTV, access control and alarm systems for homes and businesses across Leicester and Leicestershire. The aim is straightforward: work out what the property actually needs to see or control, then fit equipment that does it and keeps doing it.
How the business started
CCTV Installer Leicester was started in 2017 by Daniel Ward, after more than a decade working on security systems around Leicester and the wider East Midlands. Daniel kept running into the same problems on other people’s installations. Cameras positioned for an impressive wide view that could not identify anyone. Systems the customer had never been shown how to operate. Cable routes and recorder positions that made later servicing far harder than it needed to be.
He built the business around a simpler idea: understand the risk first, install equipment for a clear purpose, and leave the customer knowing how to use it. That is still how we work.
Who you will deal with
Daniel still runs surveys and oversees the larger installations. Sarah Patel coordinates appointments and keeps track of project details, so you are not chasing anyone for a date. Imran Khan is our senior installer and handles most new CCTV and access control work. Lewis Carter is our service engineer, which means fault finding, planned maintenance and the calls that start with “it was working yesterday”.
How we work
Survey before specification
We look at entrances, boundaries, lighting, viewing distance and cable routes before deciding what equipment belongs on the job.
Purpose for every camera
Each camera should answer a question. We will tell you what a given position can realistically achieve, including where it cannot.
Repair before replacement
Where existing equipment is sound, we say so. Replacing a failed component is often better value than starting again.
Handover that sticks
We show you how to view live images, find recorded footage and export a clip, because a system nobody can operate is not much use.
Certificated and insured
We are an SSAIB certificated firm and carry public liability insurance on every job.
Local coverage
Our work is concentrated in Leicester and the surrounding Leicestershire towns, so we know the housing stock and commercial sites well.
A service-area business
We do not run a showroom. Our engineers travel to the property, which is the only way to judge entrances, sight lines, lighting and the practical installation problems that decide whether a system works. If you want to see equipment before committing, we can bring samples to the survey.
