We are a small Leicestershire security team and we take people on occasionally rather than continuously. When we do, we would rather hear from someone genuinely suited to the work than fill a role quickly.
The kind of person who does well here
Most of the work is practical and customer-facing. You are in somebody’s home or business, often for a full day, so being straightforward with people matters as much as the technical side. We would rather train a careful worker on equipment than teach care to someone quick.
Useful experience includes CCTV, access control or intruder alarm installation, electrical or data cabling, or a related trade where you have worked unsupervised on customer sites. A full UK driving licence is necessary because the work is spread across Leicestershire.
