Terms & Conditions
These terms cover the use of this website and the basis on which we provide estimates and carry out work.

Using this website
The content of this site is for general information. We keep it accurate as far as we reasonably can, but it does not amount to advice for a specific property. Security requirements depend on the site, and a survey is the only reliable basis for a recommendation.
Estimates and quotations
Prices shown on this site are indicative planning ranges, not quotations, and do not constitute an offer. A quotation is given in writing after a survey and is valid for 30 days. Where work uncovers something that could not reasonably have been seen at survey, such as a blocked cable route or existing wiring in poor condition, we will stop and agree any variation with you before continuing.
Carrying out work
You are responsible for confirming that you own the property or have the permission of the person who does, including for any cameras that overlook shared or neighbouring areas. Where a property is leasehold, listed or in a conservation area, obtaining any necessary consent is your responsibility.
We will agree cable routes and fixing positions with you before drilling. We take reasonable care, but we cannot be responsible for pre-existing defects in the building fabric.
Payment
For larger installations we may ask for a deposit against equipment before the work is booked. The balance is due on completion unless we have agreed otherwise in writing.
Guarantee
Our workmanship is guaranteed for 12 months from completion. Equipment carries the manufacturer’s warranty, which is usually two or three years depending on the product. The guarantee does not cover damage, misuse, alterations made by others, or faults caused by changes to your broadband or network that are outside our control.
Liability
A security system reduces risk. It does not eliminate it, and we do not warrant that any system will prevent a crime or guarantee a usable image in every circumstance. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
Cancellation
Where you engage us as a consumer away from our business premises you have 14 days to cancel. If you ask us in writing to begin work inside that period you may be charged for what has already been done. Full cancellation rights are set out in the written quotation.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
